This Shipping and Delivery Policy explains how E-Appliance UG ships orders, estimated delivery times, delivery fees, tracking, and procedures for damaged or missing items. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Order processing time
Orders are processed on business days (Monday–Saturday). Standard processing time is up to 1 business day. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays begin processing the next business day.
2. Same-day delivery (Kampala & nearby areas)
Same-day delivery is available within Kampala and selected nearby areas for eligible in-stock items when orders are placed before the cut-off time shown at checkout.
3. Shipping methods
- Same-Day Delivery: Available for eligible in-stock items
- Standard Delivery: Nationwide courier delivery
- Store Pickup: Free collection from our Kampala pickup location
4. Estimated delivery times
- Kampala: Same day or next business day
- Major towns: 1–3 business days
- Other regions in Uganda: 2–5 business days
5. Delivery fees
Delivery fees depend on the item size, weight, and delivery location. The rates below represent the standard maximum delivery charges. The final delivery fee is shown at checkout before payment confirmation.
Small / Standard items
Examples: blenders, kettles, irons, shavers, small electronics and accessories
- Kampala Metropolitan Area: Up to UGX 5,000
- Outside Kampala (Upcountry): Up to UGX 15,000
- Store Pickup: Free of charge
Medium & Large items
Examples: TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, cookers and large appliances
- Kampala & nearby areas: Up to UGX 20,000
- Outside Kampala (Upcountry): Up to UGX 50,000
Actual delivery charges may vary depending on the exact delivery location, item dimensions, quantity, or special handling requirements. Any variation is confirmed before dispatch.
6. Order tracking
Tracking information is shared after dispatch via email or SMS where available. If tracking details are not received within 48 hours, please contact support.
7. Damaged or missing items
Any damage or missing items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy .
