1. Accepted payment methods
We currently accept the following payment methods on E-appliance UG:
- Bank Transfer: Payment made directly to our official bank account.
- Cheque: Accepted for corporate clients or approved customers.
- Cash on Delivery (COD): Available for selected products and delivery locations.
2. Bank transfer
Customers can complete payment via bank transfer. Bank details will be provided during the checkout process or by our customer support team.
- Please include your order number as the payment reference.
- Orders are processed once payment is confirmed by our accounts team.
- Delayed or unconfirmed transfers may affect delivery timelines.
3. Cheque payments
We accept cheque payments mainly for corporate clients and approved customers. Cheques must be issued in the name of:

- Orders are fulfilled after cheque clearance by the bank.
- Clearance timelines vary depending on your bank.
- Returned or dishonoured cheques may result in order cancellation.
4. Cash on Delivery (COD)
COD is available in Kampala and selected surrounding areas. For COD orders:
- Payment is made in cash to the delivery personnel.
- Only Uganda Shillings (UGX) are accepted for COD payments.
- High-value items may require a partial deposit before dispatch.
- Delivery personnel carry proof of delivery and collection receipts.
5. Payment verification
To ensure secure transactions, E-appliance UG may verify payments before processing orders. Verification may involve:
- Confirming bank transfer receipt
- Validating cheque details and clearance
- Confirming delivery location for COD suitability
We reserve the right to hold or cancel orders if fraud or suspicious activity is detected.
6. Failed or incomplete payments
If payment is incomplete, delayed, or unsuccessful:
- Your order may be delayed until payment is confirmed.
- You may be requested to provide proof of bank transfer or cheque details.
- If payment cannot be verified, the order may be cancelled.
7. Refunds
Refunds for cancelled or returned orders follow our Returns & Refunds Policy. Refunds for bank transfers or cheque payments are processed via bank transfer.
Refund processing time: 3–7 business days after approval.
